'Tis a gift - one from Christmas

Every Christmas the Hansen side of the family rotates through the siblings for family gifts. This year we received from John's oldest sister and her family. My brother-in-law decided to do wood burning and this is what we received. Everyone that received one of his plaques was in awe.

Just beautiful....
It takes a lot of hard work and patience to create something as lovely as this, I know, because my daughter also has the talent for this craft.
Hope you have a wonderful New Year, filled with much happiness, peace and good health.

Wow! This could be an intersting study for an embroidery piece, too! Just the way the fur lays ... Very neat!

Lovely, Carol. I have a friend who does this, too. The detail always amazes me, not just the artistic gift but the steady hand. Your brother-in-law obviously has both. :)

How beautiful. And it is always such a lovely jolt to the spirit to know how much work has been put into such a gift.
