I started reading Jennifer's Elm Creek books a few years ago and have maybe 2 to go. I like how they interweave history, quilting and modern life into one on-going story. I received "More Elm Creek Quilts" book 3 in the quilt series as a hostess gift last week so now I have the set :)
Hubbie gave me some "don't spend it all at once ;)" money at the weekend so I'm thinking about buying "Sylvia's Bridal Sampler" so I can drool !!!!!!! (There's a section at the blog showing some extremely talented quilters who have already made it.)
It struck me that a lot of the quilt block patterns are similar to the ones I am making for "Grandma's Best Full Size Quilt Blocks" so I may try and find a way to combine the two.
Jennifer is doing book signings in Ohio this week, one of which is almost down the street from my mother-in-law!!!!!

Love her books, but have only gotten to read two of them. I look forward to reading more over the next few years to come.
