Butterfly on "sunflower" mini wall hanging

This is supposed to be for a mini quilt exchange but I'm thinking about taking it in another direction which will make it larger than the required 11"x11" maximum.

I finished the basic idea yesterday and am mulling over adding some 3 dimensional embellishments.

I would like to add some loops round the edge, thread everything onto bamboo rods and do something textiley from the bottom bamboo rod. I have some green ones in my basement so I'll try it out and see what it looks like.
