You're never too old to learn something new.
At the Thread Society we are having a discussion and an experiment about wax paper which got me looking a today's foggy weather conditions in a new way. You look at your yard through wax paper and portray the emotionand colors in a fabric project. Personally I am out of wax paper but the fog was a good substitute :) I really need to build up my supply of muted fabric colors. Some tulle would also be useful.
Things are getting lively at the Lady of Steeles Hand Embroidery group. We are in the middle of a block project and are waiting for the entries from Baghdad (sp?) to get Stateside. In the meantime some of our ladies are trying to "bribe" the hostess into handing over everything :) All of us think that the block from Anna in Italy is fabulous :) This project seems to have unintentionally caused an upswing in the chat about redwork.
