One week to go .......

and the kids will be out of school for the holidays. Whoopeeee!!!!! We are so looking forward to our two oldest children coming home for a few days.

I was looking at our Christmas tree and decided I did not like it in front of the window in our family room. We had spent part of the morning clearing the room out and lo and behold a decent area opened up in front of our fireplace. Imagine if you will trying to move a 7 foot fully decorated tree without everything falling off :) It's doable and I managed it without scratching up the wood floor to boot :) Looks so much nicer and more festive in it's new location. (Tuck the tree skirt under the metal stand, crawl under the tree and puuuuush ever so slooooowly across the floor.)
